The MDI Biological Laboratory’s Center for Science Entrepreneurship hosts courses that help University of Maine and College of the Atlantic undergraduates explore approaches to biomedical research. The center also facilitates innovation and entrepreneurial-based learning and by nurturing emerging life science and technology companies.   The goal of the new center is to promote a thriving science and technology sector in Maine by using concepts and tools that promote collaboration across disciplines.  Moveable partitions provide flexibility expanding and contracting the spaces to suit each class size. Views to Frenchman Bay provide a stimulating work and study environment.
